Akyurek Technology has recently installed a turnkey seed processing plant with 15 tons capacity p/h (wheat and barley seed) in Shikhan District on middle way between Dohuk and Erbil in Iraq.

The turnkey project that has been designed and delivered consist of a Per- Cleaner (Vibratory Sieve Seed Cleaner & Air Channel), Super Fine Cleaner (De Awner & Excell 208), Mega Indent Cylinder(two units), XL Gravity Separator (two units), Indoor Storage Silo, Seed Treatment (Continuous Type), Single Scale Net Weigher and Bagger Scale with all Bucket Elevators, Reject Collecting System, Cyclone Dust Control System, and Inclined Loading Belt.

Iraqi seeds especially (wheat) come with high impurities, it rises up to 35 % in some cases in addition to the diseases that affect Iraqi seed because of micro-nutrients malnutrition and war effects on the soil. With Akyurek Technology new machines Al Shorok Company is going to serves purified seed under Star Max Seed as a brand for Iraqi farmers and farms. With high capacity of 12 tons output capacity per hour Al Shorok seed Plant or Star Max Seed will supply Iraqi market with more than 120 tons a day.
